sentora
Sentora is an institutional DeFi yield and risk-management company created in May 2025 by merging the analytics firm IntoTheBlock with Trident Digital, backed by a $25 million round led by New Form Capital. It designs strategies and manages risk for Kraken's DeFi Earn vaults and curates stablecoin vaults on Euler, Kamino and Morpho.
Our read
Sentora's vaults are built for exchanges and fintechs that want DeFi yield without running it themselves, and its written risk framework is more detailed than most. The limit is time: its dated curation record starts in late 2025, so no stress event has tested it yet. Depositors via Kraken should know that Sentora, not Kraken, decides where the USDC goes.

What Sentora is
Sentora sells DeFi yield to institutions: exchanges, fintechs and stablecoin issuers that want on-chain returns but do not want to pick markets themselves. It designs the strategy, runs the vault and watches the positions. Its CEO is Anthony DeMartino, a former head of risk at Coinbase and co-founder of Trident; its CTO is Jesús Rodríguez, co-founder of IntoTheBlock.
Its risk framework has three layers: due diligence before money goes into a protocol, automated on-chain rebalancing triggers, and continuous monitoring across six risk categories. Operators who execute trades cannot change policy on their own. In its Morpho introduction it committed to publishing incident notes and post-mortems if something goes wrong.
'Sentora' is also the name of an older open-source web-hosting control panel and of unrelated companies. This profile covers the DeFi firm at sentora.com.
IntoTheBlock is now Sentora
IntoTheBlock was best known for on-chain analytics: large-transaction counts, exchange netflows and holder-concentration indicators quoted in crypto market reports. It also ran DeFi strategies for institutions and says its risk-monitoring layer has operated since January 2021. On 6 May 2025 it merged with Trident Digital, a firm that structured liquidity programmes for projects such as Aave, Sei and Paxos, and the combined company took the Sentora name with about $3 billion of DeFi deployments behind it.
The analytics lives on inside Sentora as Risk Radar, which monitors more than 40 DeFi protocols, and Risk Pulse, an alert feed for liquidations and whale moves. We have not checked the status of IntoTheBlock's old public dashboards and API pricing, so we do not cover them here.
Sentora in DeFi: Kraken, Euler, Kamino and Morpho
| Venue | Role | Since |
|---|---|---|
| Kraken DeFi Earn | Strategy design and risk management for USDC vaults built by Veda, with Chaos Labs | January 2026 |
| Euler | Curator: Sentora RLUSD (~$370M), Sentora PYUSD (~$270M) | By December 2025 |
| Kamino | Curator: Sentora PYUSD Earn (~$150M) | By December 2025 |
| Morpho | Vault curator | December 2025 |
Kraken's product, live in most US states, the EEA and Canada, lets exchange customers deposit USDC into vaults that lend through Aave, Morpho, Sky and Tydro, at up to 8% APY at launch. Sentora and Chaos Labs set the allocations. The Euler and Kamino vaults are built around Ripple's RLUSD and PayPal's PYUSD, which fits its investors: Ripple put money into the Series A.
We found no loss on a Sentora vault. The earliest dated curation mandate we could source is its Morpho introduction of 5 December 2025, so the record is short. Sentora itself says its risk monitoring has run since 2021 under the IntoTheBlock name, but monitoring is not the same as being the party that sets a vault's allocations.
