The wallet-labelling dataset, now over 500M addresses across 20+ chains, is the product. After the 2025–26 price cut Pro costs $49 a month on annual billing or $69 month to month, and there is a free plan. Since 21 January 2026 Nansen also runs an AI trading layer, so it now earns from your trades as well as your subscription.
Best for: Wallet labelling and on-chain analytics that genuinely add signal
8.1 is the weighted average of the five pillar findings below. Does the job well with no material unresolved concerns.
The analytics product needs no custody or key access. A Sep 2023 vendor breach exposed emails, password hashes and linked wallet addresses for about 6.8% of users, with no wallet losses reported. The 2026 AI trading layer is a separate product with its own execution risk.
Pro is $49/month on annual billing or $69 month to month, with a free plan; the old professional tiers are gone. AI trading carries a fee (about 0.25% for free users per launch coverage) and agent prompts cost separate AI credits.
Established company with clear terms, real corporate substance and disclosed labelling methodology.
The labelling dataset (500M+ addresses, 20+ chains) is genuinely differentiated and its methodology is published rather than asserted.
Well designed with good documentation; the volume of data takes time to learn to use well.
Strengths
Against it
Nansen’s wallet-labelling dataset, over 500M addresses across 20+ chains, is the product. After the 2025–26 price cut Pro costs $49 a month on annual billing or $69 month to month, and a free plan covers the basics. That is a fraction of the old professional tier, and it lifts Nansen to the top of this table.
Since 21 January 2026 Nansen has also run an AI trading layer and describes itself as moving from analytics into trading. An analytics vendor that earns from execution has a reason to encourage trades; read its signals with that in mind. Its September 2023 vendor breach leaked emails and linked wallet addresses, so expect targeted phishing if you had an account then.
Pro is $49 a month billed annually or $69 month to month, and there is a free plan. AI agent prompts cost separate credits, and trades placed through Nansen carry a fee (about 0.25% for free users, per launch coverage).
If you trade on who is buying what, the Pro price is now modest. For occasional use, the free plan, Arkham’s free tier and DefiLlama cover most of the ground.
Not for analytics: it reads public chain data, and wallet connection is optional. The AI trading product is different, because it places trades; check how it holds or signs for funds before using it.
